Immunoglobulin(IVIG & SCIG)
Immunoglobulin (IG) therapy supplies antibodies collected from healthy donors. It is prescribed when the immune system does not make enough antibodies of its own, or to help regulate certain autoimmune and neurological conditions.
IVIG is given into a vein over several hours. SCIG is given under the skin, often in smaller, more frequent doses. Your physician decides which route, dose and schedule suit you.
